Funding Opportunities for Cornell Faculty

NEH Summer Stipends Grants of $6,000 for two consecutive months of research and writing, awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (Cornell Faculty must be nominated by the Society for the Humanities to apply). 
Humanities Research Grants Grants of up to $5,000 for Cornell faculty members holding regular appointments in humanities departments. Deadline: October 21, 2020
Translation Network Funding to support and workshop translation projects by a group of faculty and graduate students in the humanities. 
Interdisciplinary Monograph Writing Group Funding for activities related to writing monographs by a group of Cornell faculty in the humanities. 
Brett de Bary Interdisciplinary Writing Groups Funding for activities related to writing and publication by groups of faculty and graduate students in the humanities. 
Humanities Corridor Conference Initiative Up to $10,000 in support of one conference or workshop on Cornell’s campus.
Humanities Corridor Working Groups Funding for collaborative regional working groups. Deadline: October 19, 2020

Timothy Murray Graduate Travel Grants Grants of up to $1,000 to support travel for doctoral research. 
Dissertation Writing Groups Funding for writing groups of graduate students with a common interdisciplinary focus. 
Translation Network Funding to support and workshop translation projects by a group of faculty and graduate students in the humanities. 
Mellon Urbanism Fellowships Seminars focused on the intersection of urbanism, design, and the humanities, with stipends to support a final project. 
Summer Graduate Fellowship in Digital Humanities Graduate student digital scholarship summer internship program
Public Humanities Fellows A year-long fellowship that explores the public dimensions of scholarship in partnership with a community organization. 
Community Partnership Grants Pairs Cornell graduate students with regional organizations to support a campus-community collaborative public humanities project
