Departments Collaborate On Community Read of Timothy Snyder's "On Tyranny"

History Does Not Repeat, But It Does Instruct.

The has partnered with Jewish Studies, American Studies, and the Africana Studies & Research Center on a community read project of Timothy Snyder's bestselling book "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons From The Twentieth Century."

Members of the Cornell community wishing to join the conversation in this essential community read can attend a panel discussion on Monday, October 30th at 4:30 p.m. in the Rhodes-Rawlings Auditorium in Klarman Hall. The event will feature a public discussion with Mabel Berezin (Sociology), Jonathan Boyarin (Jewish Studies), Kevin Gaines (Africana Studies & Research Center), and Aziz Rana (Cornell Law School) followed by a community conversation.
