Departments Collaborate On Community Read of Timothy Snyder's "On Tyranny"

History Does Not Repeat, But It Does Instruct.

The Society for the Humanities has partnered with Jewish Studies, American Studies, and the Africana Studies & Research Center on a community read project of Timothy Snyder's bestselling book "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons From The Twentieth Century."

Members of the Cornell community wishing to join the conversation in this essential community read can attend a panel discussion on Monday, October 30th at 4:30 p.m. in the Rhodes-Rawlings Auditorium in Klarman Hall. The event will feature a public discussion with Mabel Berezin (Sociology), Jonathan Boyarin (Jewish Studies), Kevin Gaines (Africana Studies & Research Center), and Aziz Rana (Cornell Law School) followed by a community conversation.
